Looking For A Cold Air Intake Post

I can't remember who did it, but it was in the fender well. Removed the Airbox, and cut thru the metal underneath. The guy who did it used a cutting torch, and messed up the wheel well cover. Then he routed pre-bend pipe thru the hole, and painted it blue....

I want to get the post so I can see how it lookeds again, and where he put the MAS etc.

THX

Don't forget you need to relocate the washer bottle (PITA!)

Looks like you kept the litte stock elbow, put the 3'-3' and drilled into that for the 2 hoses... then AFM? Am I right in assuming this? Also did you just get a small filter for the Airpump?

Ya that crappy washer bottle I threw away since I never ecen used it
I say if you dont use it more than once a week get rid of it.
Liquid Anarchy you are right about the connector thing where I drilled, I would have drilled the holes in the stock elbow but didnt want to mess it up or anything, so I just drilled in the plastice connector.
Now I would show you more pics put I dont have any and have gone turbo since then.
Not that hard to do at all, just use 3" hole saw for the hole

Did you have any problem with **** getting into/onto the air filter? also, wouldn't the filter need a 3 inch inner diameter hole? not a 2.5

AFM = Air Fuel Meter. Sometimes called the MAF or MAS ( Mass Air-Flow Sensor )

Well actually its an Air Flow Meter since it only measures air not fuel
I know what you meant though
Oh I drove with that intake for about 6 months down here in Florida in the
rainy season and no problems for me.
Oh and the filter can go onto a 3" or 2.5" pipe
And as for those hoses I'm not sure if you can just plug them up but you probably can.

well I plugged mine and worked. When left unpluged but off the intake tube the cars idle bounces... My ACV is off so I think that has something to do with it. Is your ACV still on. I think thats why it dies when U plug it...????????????

I was actually looking for THAT EXACT page. Seems I found it this way huh? It's damned near impossible to find a spacific thread with search if you can't hardly remember any of the content.

I think its perfectly coo to post threadz asking to a popular thread.. Someone can just post a link instead of having to explain the whole thing again. I once saw this guys custom intake from a thread way back that I probly never find by using search...That would take forever. So Its cool just to make a thread asking for people who might have saved the adress or something.. Right? Cool.
