looking for coilover kit for daily driving
i have a 91 t2 with a 93 fd motor right now the car has some old struts and Racing Beat springs but i wanna take the car to track for drag racing, but also daily driving i live in new york its not the best roads in the world (ruffs roads) i want a set of coilover with struts like the TEIN but dont know too much about them.
if you guys out their know about a good set of coilovers thats good for both daily and track use

i've had oldschool jic fla2s didn't like them for the street. you couldn't roll a quarter under my car at the lowest setting. i blew the mono tubes on them. MI has the 2nd worst roads in the us. im running tein ra's now i'll let you know how they feel later this week i just got my car started after the rebuild. and im working out the bugs.
i dont want the car too low because i know with the road around here i will brake something also the i have a kit on the car so if i get a flat tire i am gonna die if i cant jack it up, i was looking at koni struts with some new RB springs

with your car dropped you run in to all sorts of issues. you can't pull in to high driveways potholes are kit killers. you have a hard time getting on to flatbed trailers. my freinds have a pro. shop and they say if yourcars lower than a pop can your risking it. all they're rides are slammed some of them are bagged(crome everything) they recomended i just do a lip kit.
koni, tokico illu, agx expensive to cheap, safer than running coilovers in ny roads, couple of my evo buddies are selling their coilovers because they are getting owned left and right with the pot holes., they are reverting back to springs and struts.
how much do you want to invest? how long do you plan on having this car? the tein flex and edfc the in car dampining adjuster allow you to go from a drag set up to city set up or track in seconds with out having get out of your car. it's not cheap. your local tuner shop should be able hook you up. with the koni set up you have less dampining options and you can only adjust ride hight from the top. shop around your area and find out what your local shops are using. also the koni shocks are widely used and a lot less expensive. it's easyer to get replacements and you don't have to have your shocks rebuilt when they go bad.
i want to spend around a $1000 or a little more but i have to be able to have the car street drive good enough not have it bottom out, so i want the ride hight not be that low
the teins all sit pretty high at the top my car looks like a four x four right nowpop can and a half the flex are about $1500 instald without the edfc if you look on there site they have a price and app. list plus they have nice pics. maybe the super streets from tein or stance coilovers with a 6k/front and 5k/rear would work for you they cost about $1100ish. i think adjustable coilovers are great because you have the option to lift or drop your car whenever.
Sorry but I havegot to say this: I want the "fc3sturboTT" to use proper grammar if possible, so i don't scrape my jaw on the floor from wondering WTF he is trying to say...
As for coilovers, hmm, go with ground control springs, and koni yellows for the rear.
For the front, koni only makes a "rebuild kit" to fit the stock shock body, so you will also probably have to buy NOS oem shock bodies for the fronts, becasue I bet the orig. ones will not be in any shape that looks remotely rebuildable. Imo, best solution is to go with some other shock up front like a tokico.

Yeah, read this: it's explained in the suspension write up:

I've got GC coilovers and AGX's and they aren't exactly a "decent" ride. They don't bother me, but other people are afraid theyre gonna get bruises from the bumps. It doesn't roll at all, though, so its a great setup for an auto-x or track car that you drive on the street. If you have shitty roads, its right out, though. Of course thats true of basically any coil-over.
