VA a little guidance please

hey all, so pretty soon im gonna be looking to drop some money on a t2 engine but i have a problem. I have been searching for a decent used engine as hard as my little fingers can click the mouse and i am coming up with nothing. i have called numerous junk yards near my area but still nothing. so i was wondering if anyone could give me the number or url to a good place to buy a engine. i need a s5 tII preferably not blown up but ill take what i can get. i would appreciate any help, thank you.

Contact Japan2LA to see what he has available. You'd be looking to pay shipping from CA to your location though.

Consider purchasing a complete TII car and swapping the appropriate components. You can probably pick one up for a few thousand. Reason I say that is that you should also install the TII drivetrain components--tranny, differential, etc.--along with the engine, not to mention the harnesse, ECU and so on.

Check out the on-line auto sales sites like Autotrader.com. You may just find one with the body in bad shape that should translate to a bargain.
