Lim ?
Lim ?
I did the emission removel on my 87 TII, on the back side of the lim the firewall side what is the part called and can that be block off. I belive a block off plate came with the kit. if it can be removed what do i do with the hose that go to it. BTW i search and could not fine anything. of coarse i did not now the part name. Thanks
It's the Air Supply Valve. It increases idle speed when you use the power steering to stop the engine bogging or stalling. If you have power steering there's no good reason to remove it. It's not like it's in the way; you can barely see it.

NZconvertible so your saying that the egr is the same as the Air Supply Valve, am i getting this right. If so i been away from the car for some time, and don't remmeber if there is anything hooked up to it if there is what do i do with whatever hooked up to it. Thanks for any help. Tony
My apologies, I had a total brain-fart. I was thinking UIM, not LIM.
You are of course referring to the EGR valve. If passing emissions is not an issue then you can remove it. You'll still need a block-off plate for it. Cap the line attached to it.
