no problem, just odd question

Hello eveyone. I have a quick question. I am getting tired of wasting the gas letting my car warm up for 10 mins. So, how long should I let it warm up? I am letting it get to Normal Operating Temp before I drive it. Would it hurt anything to drive it cold? Thanks in advance.

ummm, you don't have to wait for the car to warm up that much before driving it. let it warm up for a 1min or 2 max, and then just drive it to your destination making sure you don't past 4k RPM (3k shifts are best) and give it light throttle until it fully warms up.

Talking

Just go easy on the throttle and you should be fine.

It is is under freezing then maybe I would wait 30 seconds, but other than that there is no reason to let the car warm up. Just drive easy until the temp gauge is in the operating temp range.

oh ok, well I wish i would have known this about $50 in warm up gas ago. LOL. Even when I dont let it warm all the way up, I still wait till it idles to 1100 then I dont shift above 2500. So, thanks guys, now I wont waste so much gas sitting still.
