www.miata.org makes a cool kit for Miatas's. I was told they fit the FC with a little modification.

Heh. I've been looking at this too. I do a lot (mostly?) night driving, and as much as I love flip up lights, they really drag at speed (my brother drove my car, flipped the lights up, and noticed the drag - and he's not exactly the most "car aware" person I've ever met).

I think this means that you don't have to take the bumper/hood/fenders off of the car, you can install them without removing the body pieces from the car. But that's just my interpretation.
you will be willing to pay 650 for these dual lights?

Damn I can make those and have them plug into your stock light wiring harness for 650.

I think this BSP light kit would be cool...

One of the best selling accessories in our product line, the BSP Low Profile Headlight Kit is one of our favorites too. Mazda liked them so much they used them as the platform for the lights on the M Speedster. Then Mazda put one of our kits on the M Coupe. The factory 'barn door' headlights interfere with your forward vision. Our lowered profile lights capture the essence of the Miata and improves the field of view drastically.
Key features:
1. Independent adjustment for all four bulbs takes seconds
2. New DOT stamped clearer lenses*. High beams use all 4 lights. Replacement lenses are just $19.95. Now uses H3 Halogen replaceable bulbs. Upgrade for HID look or replace them locally for just $4.95. No side glare issues.
3. All powdercoated assemblies
NOW WITH POLISHED RINGS AROUND EACH LIGHT!
Don't be fooled into buying similar but more expensive kits that have fewer features. Make sure you ask for BSP's Low Profile kit by name!
$349.00 USD

if u make a kit like that one on the miata i think you should take into account the part of the "flipped-up" assembly on the side... i noticed on the green car there's no light bezel, which makes it look kinda "partially installed'.
