leaky injector

well yesterday i took all of my injectors off and sent them to get cleaned. i went over to check how they were doing and one of them was leaking. so ill need a new one. but my question is should i buy another stock 550cc injector or should i upgrade to 720cc injectors for the secondaries and get a SAFC2. this is for a s4 turbo. i will be modifing the car as time and money permits.

External leak at the O-ring, or internal at the nozzle?

Probably just a bad O-ring.

They rarely can be re-used without risking a leak.

Also the bushings on the bottom are a common source of vacuum leaks & may need to be replaced.

this was tested on a new machine from a guy in town. the O-rings were off when tested. it is leakign inbetween where the top part where the plastic part that has the connector is there is fuel coming from there. and the guy who tested them(who is a good frined of my dads) told me i needed a new one.

Now - you tell us....

So, it's really about whether you're ready to start fuel & boost mods.

If you have the cash, start the mods..

BTW how's that K&N drop in work for you.
Any noticable difference?

I would get 720's and a SAFC. Just tune the 720's down to 550cc injecting levels until you start modifying things.

You'll be happy you did the swap before you put everything back together.

i think im gonna get the 720cc injectors and a safc and tune it down, instead of getting a new injector.

and bill i cant reall tell you the diference with the drop in. i had it on my n/a untill i got the cone filter. but i just had it around so i put it ni the t2. but there not much of a difference.
