Leakie Injectors what do i do NOW?

Question Leakie Injectors what do i do NOW?

i finally found that i had a leaky injector so i took alot of **** off my enigne the get the fuel rail off and remove the injectors. what am i suppose to do now ??????? please help need my car running soon!

Replace it or send it out to be cleaned.

on budget=RC engineering $24 each, lot's of $ replace with new.
however, double check ur LIM gasket..i had fuel leak b4 ( and coolant leak from UIM as well) if u have the fuel in that 3 little spot between the LIM and the block th egasket can be out of service..but maybe not ..just my .02

what i mean is i was unplugging the injectors and when i went to pull up on the injector to undo the wire connected to it gas sparyed out i felt it on my fingers and the whole injector was wet after that can i just replace the O rings do they have the stuff at advanced auto parts?

O!! ic, check and see , if the o-ring is damage then YES Advance auto-part have O-ring set for our injectors. for $14 per injectors. u have to order it . C

I though RC Engineering just cleans them and not fix leaky injectors unless I'm wrong?

hey the o ring kit comes with the bottom giant seal that sits in the top fuel rail and the bottom on that sits in the block right

That's stupidly expensive. I bought all 4 grommets, and orings from the DEALER and paind about 23 bucks CAN.

Hey I have a set for sale, I bought 4 of th upper and lower grommets, and 4 o-rings. Iwill sell them all fo 25.00 shipped, check my thread in the 2nd Gen for sale section or pm,I had my injectors cleaned and they replaced all of them so.......these are extra. Let me know I'm trying to get rid of these things.

They leak because they're dirty. Crap on the pintle stops it closing and sealing properly.
