Kinda worryed about engine life..

okay i am putting in a TII swap here soon..and the motor has about 90k on it already...if i just drive it normal and every now and then get on it..will it last another atlesst 30k? i will be taking really good care of it..seafoaming it every now and then premixing and changing oil every 1800-2000miles..just wanted to be sure its not gunna die on me in 5k miles....

i mean if it can last 30k more miles i can rebuild it..its just its gotta be a DD for those 30k till i get the money for a rebuild. lol

get it comp. tested and see where your at? it could last a few years or a few days..lol

You couldn't even say that with certainty of a brand new engine- of any kind.

oh well live and learn if it blows before 30k i guess ill just rebuild it and while i am just drive my dads car

Yes, you can compression test out of the car, but not by hand. You need a starter and a transmission bell housing or whole transmission. Jumper the starter solenoid, hook up a battery & enjoy the sparks.

I think you'll be just fine, depending on the compression it has right now.

Just take realy good care of it, open it up every now and then, i wouldnt recomend redlining it though. Just enough to let the motor break up all that led and whatnot, let it breath. But for the most part, just drive it easy and you'll be fine.
