Key stuck in ignition!

Ok, now my car was broken into and was someone tried to steal it, but they failed, last week, now as I got to put the key in the ignition, and turn the wheel, I am not able to get the key out! So if anyone can help, that would be highly appreciated!

Atleast you'll never lose your keys now.

Well, if you can't wiggle the wheel back and forth to get it out, then you probably have issues beyond your control. Why do you care if you are just going to replace the ignition anyways? Just take your spare to rite-aid and get a dupe made.

make sure the car is going all the way into park ... if the car is in park something might be out of wack along those lines.. I had trouble like this in another car (automatic lebaron w/ floor shift) and it turned out I needed to fix the shifter (had to tighten up a couple bolts) and when I shifted through all my stuff and then back into park it let me turn the key the rest of the way out
