Alright, you all know the story, s4 n/a body, s5 t2 engine, haltech e6x. I need cruise control. I already got the wiring for the cc computer off the stock wiring harness and I have the S4 N/A actuator. More than likely I'll need to get the S4 T2 actuator, but my questions lies with vacuum. The S4 actuators have vacuum lines that come off of them and run to the S4 UIM, can I just connect this vacuum line to the larger vacuum port on the back of the S5 UIM and be done and will it work? Have I stated anything completley wrong and stupid? Will it work? This is my only defense against speeding tickets, my foot weighs too much.

I have a bunch of the turbo actuators if you want one I will sell for 15 shipped.
The NA actuator should work, just connect it to a vacuum port on the intake manifold. The one by the pass. strut tower should suffice, it's on the upper intake manifold right below the bac valve. I have been told this works okay on a turbo motor, but I have never tried it.

If the N/A actuator won't work with my setup, which I'm thinking it won't considering the length of the throttle cable on it, then I'll give you shoat. Thanks.

the operative word here is "turbo" hence, leading to the word "boost" Leading to the fact there there would be no vac to the actuator when you hit boost...
My question is this... HOW does the Cruise computer work???? I'd kinda like to put it back in... but, didn't know if it would still work with the Haltech.... I didn't take the Cruise computer out, and scavenged that part of the wiring harness (the wipers are aslo on that section) and plugged the connectors back in, but haven't bothered to try hooking it up yet.. especially since my haltech relays are where the cruise actuator would sit!

And just how often is your cruise control going to be hitting boost?
The cruise control system should be entirely independent of the stock ECU. All it really needs is a signal from the vehicle speed sensor, which is in the speedometer. The FSM wiring diagrams should give you all the info you need.
You need three modules for cruise control to work. The dash lever, the cruise control computer, and the servo unit mounted in the engine bay.

The plugs for it are found behind the passenger-side kick panel, right next to the connector for the wiper controls.

Ya, I've already found the connections in the wiring harness and ran them along with the windshield wiper wiring. Looks like I'll need a T2 actuator... arg! Wait for next paycheck.
