Talking Just got a turbo!!! YaY

When my '86 N/A caught fire i was sad, but today a guy i just recently met......made me sooo happy!

i have "half way purchased" an '87 black turboII

-S5 tails
-aero mirrors[might opt for my regular styles]
-S5 turbo spoiler
-S5 turbo
-S5 manifold
-S5 N/A gauges
-white faced gauges
-home depot BOV and TID[just the way i like it]

only a few things need done
-need to replace a wheel stud[appears to be tourqed off!!]
-misc interior parts need put in or replaced[but i have them]
-a good hard washing[and by hard i mean soft!]

all in all....Andrew!.......you rock so much dood

just to get started is there anything i should be doin extra......i mean other than basic road side care for an RX-7 because of the turbo??

its got a few mod already. its got alot of paper work, really taken care of, one of the papers is for the just recentlly done 90k mile tuneup!

First things first, open another bank account and take out a loan for a spare engine. Best thing you can do for a turbo, is to have a spare engine for when ya pop the first one! Ahhh, it's the damn GTUs, I swear, I'm talkin like Kevin now!

I just purchased an 87 TurboII a month ago. The oil filler neck had some debris and rust in it so I cleaned it and changed the oil twice to try to get contaminants out and Im replacing the injectors b/c they are leaky and cause the car to flood(the injectors are the original stock ones....120K on them) How many miles does it have? you might want to change the injectors. Other than that I dunno Im new to this forum and rotarys
