The relevant differences.......Jspecs were driven around in Japan before being shipped to North America....

And the S4 Jspecs did not have an EGR.

so ther wouldnt be any power gains from a jdm motor like jdm honda motors?

I'd be wary if buying a J-spec motor (unless you're positive of it's condition). Have you ever considered rebuilding your own?
