Umm, they're the stock mirrors on a JDM FC, they look like this:

That's the best pic(it's a model) I can find on short notice, they look a little like s4 coupe mirrors, but I don't believe they are the same. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or where to find them?

You ever see that guy called "JAPANDY" on ebay? Hes in Japan and seems to run through junkyards all the time(or he has a few of his own or something). Just look for stuff like blow off valves or turbo **** and you'll find him. I bet he could get them for you.

No, those are aftermarket, not stock.

Personally I don't see why you guys are so hung up on JDM mirrors. They are quite plain looking, not nearly as sporty looking as the US ones. Is the "JDM look" so popular you'd go backwards in looks?

Wait, I've got an idea. Who wants to swap?!

But... they're DIFFERENT! And the mirrors on my donor car are mismatched, one's an s4 mirror, and the other is an s5 mirror. I was considering some of the "spoon" style mirrors, but since I'm going to have a FEED replica lip, that's REALLY a little "too" initial D'ish for me! Well, there's some stuff to check out here, I'll let you guys know what I find. Lol, Jason, what color are your mirrors? The JDM s4 and s5 mirrors were the same, correct? I would go find another s5 mirror and trade you straight across if you were serious!

no doubt.....people pay soooo much money for JDM crap. It's still a stock intake....wether it's hear or across the pond it's still stock. I guess if you're a purist then it would make sense. But the hand over fist prices are ridiculous.

Dark green! Bet yours isn't...

Nah. I think I'll keep them. The US ones look like they're smaller than the Japanese ones, and both sides have convex mirrors (US ones aren't, correct?), so they give excellent rear vision. And any 'vert owner will tell you that's a huge bonus when the roof's up!

My S4 mirror is from an NA, so it's not the aero-style. Thanks though!(Do you remember me from SS5?)

JDM bandwagon? Lol, ok, I think I take personal offense to that. The reason I want these mirrors is because I'm building a replica of a JDM car. I'm trying to be as authentic as possible right down the steering wheel, shift ****, and rims. But suppose I weren't. Consider this then: aftermarket mirrors are expensive. Upwards of 400-500 bucks. JDM mirrors, on the other hand, would be much cheaper, and give the car a different look than all the other FCs around. It's not that they're japanese, they're just different.

Too bad NZ, lol, that would have been convenient!

On those 17" efini BBS wheels Rotorific mentioned. Can you just put the "mazda" cap on similar 17" BBS wheels?? I'd like to keep the "stock" look on my vert, but enhance the "beefy sports car" look with a slight bodykit, TII hood, rear skirt, and 17" BBS looking wheels. Having the mazda logo on the wheels would be sweet.
