i'm gonna post some pictures of my car tomorrow. i think you'll be surprised how FUCKED the front of my car is, and how untouched the rest of the car is. the firepeople took a pick axe to the hood and quarter panels cause the front of the car was engulfed and they couldnt open it, so they ripped it up with an axe. wow my life sucks.

Bastards... Well, you could probably fix more than half of it for 700 bucks. That place I gave you has new wiring harnesses for 300ish, fenders+bumper you can get for 150, new hood for probably 100, and silicon vac line for another 60. But then there is probably more than that to fix.

we were driving across campus and i smelled burning plastic and said oh **** then turned around and went back to park. i turned the car off and we saw white smoke coming out of my hood scoop so i thought i just blew a radiator hose or something. then i popped the hood and saw fire so i let the hood down and looked underneath the car and said 'oh ****' again.

Actually he did the right thing by closing it back. There is a lot more oxygen to feed the fire with the hood up.

Yes but now the cars body is hacked up Proping it open like 1cm wouldve been ideal. But oh well.

sucks man, my car caught fire also a few weeks ago, managed to blow it out though cause we caugt it early( the hood was up and we were jumpin the car, so a friend was watching) All I could see from in the car was him jumpin around yelling and pointing, so I leapt out, ran to the front of the car, started screaming "get the fire extinguisher, someone get some water or something!" then I had a stroke of genius and tried blowing it out. between the three of us that were there we managed to blow the thing out before it damaged anything important!

Damn, that sucks. My FD just caught on fire. Mine kinda went like this...
I was out driving around with my friends. It was really snowy out. My friend was behind me in his truck. I saw some smoke comming out of my exhaust. It was thick and white, looked more like steam. My first thought was that I sucked some snow up into my intake. I pulled over to see what was wrong. My friend stuck his head out the window of his truck and before I said anything he screamed, "Something's on fire under your hood!!!!" I was like, "Oh ****!" I popped the hood, jumped out and we started throwing snow at my turbos (thats what was on fire). I got it out after like 10 mins. It didn't spread because of all the snow we threw down in there. I guess my turbos fell apart and spewed oil everywhere. Its back in the shop. I got 2 fire extinguishers for Christmas, lol. I've owned the car for a year and 3 months and have only had it on the road for 5 months... hmm. I'm not having good luck. BTW, does anyone want to donate a mazdaspeed spoiler to me? haha
