Damn bro, sorry to hear that. I have a driver side fender with 2 small dents that I could ship you if you pay shipping. Let me know if you want it.

Sorry to hear about that man. I would die if my car caught fire. I would prolly through my body on the fire to smother it out. Give knight1976 a pm and tell him that I told you to talk to him. He will more than likely have everything you need. I mean everything. Here in one of the junk yards I might be able to get you a hood for like $50. Talk to knight1976 about that too. Good luck with the car. We will get that puppy up and running.
peace,
Charles

Hey now dont go blaming **** on me!! Sorry dude... Hell, if you had, it'd just be sitting here anyway, frozen under 3-6" of snow. There are multiple FC's here I need to be working on, but I cant move any of em(they dont roll real well in snow and ice).

FWIW, I am still willing to help you out though, Id be glad to look at some pics for you, and either come get it or whatever. ****, if you decide you dont wanna restore it(by the sound of it, perhaps a sound financial decision) Ill still buy it off you, or trade you into another rex plus some cash, and you *know* one I build wont catch fire :-) I take out the ******* PD's.

Feel free to send pics to my email or gimme a call 423-748-7977, and Ill give you my honest opinion of what to do as far as fixing your car; with so many decent bodies out there in the world, I dont see a reason to fix a burned car if it's very bad at all.

Man that sucks, my sympathies

All these stories of spontaneous RX-7 combustion make me really glad my dad got me in the habit of keeping a fire extinguisher in the car... hopefully I will never have to use it.

I hope everyone reading this goes out to buy an extinguisher RIGHT FRICKEN NOW. Jacob would be back on the road in no-time if he'd had one.

Jacob, I'm really sorry for your loss and wish you the best of luck.

Cory
