Isn't this backwards?

Looking through FC listings on eBay as I'm wont to do when bored, I came across the attached picture that made me do a double-take since not too long ago I just re-attached the solenoid connectors on my own n/a. Shouldn't the blue and yellow connectors be switched?

That's what I remembered it as being as well, but wanted to make sure given that I pulled all of them off my vacuum rack to clean it thoroughly. I was quite careful to note which one went where, but that picture made me do a double-take since I know my blue is the fore-most one since I had trouble with the harness routing and the connector barely reaches it.

Good to know someone else is smoking the starter fluid and not me.

Judging by the amount of leaves in the engine bay I think that's the least of the problems.

These solenoids are all the same. Therefore, the order of these connectors doesn't matter.

It looks like it might be OK after some work.

The intake pipe isn't connected to the TB.
The red paint (I guess) that was on some of the pipes needs to go
Some rust on parts like pulleys
Yellow stuff on the water pump/thermostat neck

The solenoids may be the same- but what they're connected to and what they do are not the same, so the order of the connectors does matter. I.e., if the plugs are swapped around and the ECU tries activating the EGR solenoid and that plug is instead plugged into a different solenoid, it's going to have a different effect than what the ECU is trying to do.

This is a JOKE, right? You don't really believe what you wrote, do you? IF you do, you don't seem to know how things work.

By the way, the Switching and FRP solenoids are also in the wrong places. The Grey should be fwd of the Orange. Cheeze...........other than that it doen't look THAT bad.

if the picture was reversed you wouldnt be able to read it...because it would be on the other side of the engine...reversed.

That and the solenoids would still be hooked up wrong.
