Intentional Boost Leak??

Is there any way that I can limit my boost for now and keep all of my mods in tact?? Could I somehow create a boost leak to bleed off unwanted boost? I have never heard of anyone doing this, so it probably dosen't work. Just checking, I'm sure im missing something crucial here

Put a restrition in your intake, like a large plastic washer with a 1.5" opening. There was a thread on this a while ago...

Boost leak would be bad... the computer would think that more air is getting in than is really getting in, so you'll run rich... Plus, a boost leak will have the turbo working extra hard to produce a lower amount of effective boost... If it leaks TOO much, it could overspool..
