I am sure you would get some more air but I think you can't do that. We had a discussion a little bit ago & figured out you are kinda stuck with the MAF. Only upgrade I have heard of was a 92+ 929s.

I'm not really sure because I haven't even looked into this mod at all. There are alot of other things that will do more first. Someone else should answer you here pretty soon.

If you've got an 1986-1988 model, you're pretty much stuck with it unless you go with a stand-alone (minimum a cool grand + install + tuning).  These things spit out a funky signal which is not linear.
