Intake

Sup everyone.
Would you get any increase in air
flow if you took out the little flipper
thing on the Air flow meter housing.

I am sure you would get some more air but I think you can't do that. We had a discussion a little bit ago & figured out you are kinda stuck with the MAF. Only upgrade I have heard of was a 92+ 929s.

isn't someone working on putting the MAF from a mustang on?

Ryde _Or_Die 12-18-01 01:53 AM

Oh ya, I have heard of that mod too. Haven't heard of it completed but have heard of the 929 being done.

So the one from a 929 is a straight bolt on.
Does it really add that much. Lates matt22

I'm not really sure because I haven't even looked into this mod at all. There are alot of other things that will do more first. Someone else should answer you here pretty soon.

If you've got an 1986-1988 model, you're pretty much stuck with it unless you go with a stand-alone (minimum a cool grand + install + tuning).&nbsp These things spit out a funky signal which is not linear.
