$400/yr with >25yrs/old, multicar, and homeowners discounts. Progressive's covering me for $8000/car for collision, theft, and no insurance.
Basically I crash it - I'm our ~$8000. It gets stolen or hit - I'm covered for $8000.

18 y.o., perfect driving record, good student status. and I pay approx $57 a month. I'm on my mom's insurence and I'm a secondary driver
But that's with a 90' GTU. tack on another $20 a month for a TII

Many people do not know this, but there is a test which a minor must pass before he/she is allowed to own a sportscar with over 100hp. The test is called the PHONE (Pre-adult Hotrod Owner's Nationalized Exam), and can be taken as a home-study course if you do not want to travel to your local DMV. Here are the subject areas of the PHONE test:
1) Vision and Reading Comprehension: Applicant must be able to read the Insurance section of the Yellow Pages, and correctly identify carriers which sell auto insurance.
2) Numerical Sequencing and Motor Skills: Applicant must be able to dial the phone numbers of auto insurance carriers.
3) Verbal Communications and Comprehension: Applicant must coherently discuss the basic vehicle description and insurance coverage options with insurance sales representatives.
4) Mathematical and Financial Cognition: Applicant must correctly identify the better insurance plan for him/her, and also determine if it is affordable when added to the other items in the applicant's budget, such as car payments, fuel, oil changes, repairs, etc. Extra credit will be given if the applicant researches the market value and common problem areas of the vehicle prior to purchase.

Insurance quotes are free, so there will be no charge to the applicant for this test battery. Good luck!

Iwant7,
Don't mind evil aviator. We've seen quite a few post lately from <21 buyers. Just keep in mind the TIIs go EXTREEMLY fast in no time - so promise us you won't smash it (they're getting rare ) and take care of her

That is way too dull! I think that my PHONE test is much more dramatic, not to mention entirely Evil.

LOL @ Evil...
If anyone cares, I pay 400 euros/year, thats something like 370$, but thats without "mixed", i.e I have injuries, fire, theft etc and collision, but the latter only for the other (if its my fault). I still pay my own damages...

Dude, I am a long time domestic car nut, still am. BUT YOU DO NOT WANT A LINCOLN!!!!!!!!!
My good friend has a 69 lincoln continental that I helped him restore. The thing is a freaking boat. It has a 460 pushing 430 hp to the wheels and still runs a 16 second quarter mile(not it is not the driver, just look at the car). But the most important reason not to get a lincoln is: IT'S A FORD PRODUCT!!!
Unless you like working on your car on a daily basis, i would advise against it. Get the
T2, you wont regret it
