Installing Power steering!
My base model FC doesnt come with ps and is just not as flickable through the turns as i'd like it to be.
How difficult and what is needed for the swap? PS rack and pump and belts and... what else?

You will not have the wiring present for the PS system, so you cannot properly install it. OR, it will not be actuated properly if you do. IT is computer operated. If you doubt this, check by the enginebay fusebux. You're looking for 2 white connectors...1 with 2 wires, 1 with 6 wires. Also under the dash behind the drivers speaker will be a large long plug with probably 10+ wires, that is where the PS computer plugs up. Those are the PS plugs. IF not present, then forget it. If they are, then it will be plug and play.

What Kevin said. BTW I don't have PS on my TII or my N/A and if I did I would get rid of it. I just like the feel of direct linkage between the road and the wheel. I can drift just fine without it.

cool. I was thinking about doing this too, because, like you said, steering response is crap with the manual rack. I have to turn the wheel twice as far as my AE86 to get the same steering results.
but I have done the TII conversion, and used both front harnesses, so it should be plug and play then, right? guess I'll have to look for those plugs...
anyway let us know how it goes, and how well the response is increased.
