probably not but I'd figure I'd go with a second opinion.

i was doing the reassembly of my intake manifold and etc today when putting in the injector, I thought I had it seated right at the start but i guess halfway through tightening the rail down I noticed it so I backed off and it kinda bent the plastic around the nozle, which you can see. so is this either okay to use? or does anyone have an S4 injector for the UIM? I beileve they are the secondaries, but dont quote me on that.

the pintle caps are only about $4, just replace it as i doubt you damaged the injector.

get another one.

Its possible that it will still work but not to its full potential and running lean has a much higher associated cost than one (or even all 4) injector(s)

Exclamation

If it were my ride I'd replace with new. But if you want to test it, connect to 12V and you should hear a click. It's a solenoid. You also need to connect a fuel hose to it and apply pressure to it and see if it leaks. When voltage is applied it should squirt. I wouldn't advise using that injector though.

Primary's are closest to the motor.
Secondaries are furthest.

secondaries...

anyways I shouldnt have even asked that since I did see the OMP lines to the primarys in the LIM. heh

edit: while were talking about injectors:

how the hell do you get those clips off without breaking it? i dont want to yank it off cause it looks like its gunna rip off the plastic clip off if I do.

i have used an exacto blade in the past, but a very thin scribe is the best tool. there is a thin metal clip in a groove that goes over the top of the connector, down the sides, and partway across the bottom. this groove is at the end of the connector closest to the injector. you just have to get the clip out of the groove and the connectors slide right off.
