Injector question...sorry, just in a hurry

Do you think that these will fit on my secondary fuel rail for my 88 tii. They are low imp so I dont have to wire up any resistors or anything. I heard a certain 1000cc+ injector would fit our fuel rail, but just squish the grommet a little, which isn't a problem since they are pretty much just spacers.

Yes, they will fit....that is odd they are LOW impedance .... I got some 1600 CC that were high.

You have to mod them...

See this post...
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light=injector

Unless you have them already you will need new injector clips (plugs) because the stockers don't fit.

I got mine here for $10 shipped
http://kgparts.com/newfuel.htm

But it doesn't mater since I just bought it now

I couldnt say for sure those would fit but I fit 1000cc PTE (precision turbo and engine) injectors into the stock fuel rail fine. Only the top stock grommet gets a little squished but it's no big issue. If you want I can post pix of the injectors and how they sit when I get home.

They fit just modify them, it took me 5 mins to do both. These are great people and you can also get the clips from them. I met them both, they are awesome sellers.

So I would need the injector clips off that site http://kgparts.com/newfuel.htm and they would work on the injectors I posted....just end up with a squished grommet? Sorry for asking such a stupid question..I'm not exactly the smartest guy here :P

PTE 1000ccs you will not have to modify anything. I cant speak for any other brand injector though. Here's a pic just in case you are interested. You cant really see the squished grommet though sorry for the crappy pic. If you dont want to modify the rails or anything I would say this is probably as big as you can go.

Nope, its not the rails that you have to modify its the injectors. I am speaking from experience, that all you have to do is modify the injectors. 1600 fit there just fine.

I can't find any PTE injectors..I found one ebay listing and it was for 4 @ $350....I want 2. And I don't feel like having to spend all that money to buy 4 and have to try and find someone to buy 2 from me.

-Is it all that simple to modify the injectors? I don't know anything about modifying stuff lile that. I really wouldnt want to mess up after spending over $100 on those ebay ones.

http://froogle.google.com/froogle?sc...Search+Froogle I bought them from wiredspeedlab if you're interested as well as the RC eng connectors as well when they were on sale. Great service. They even emailed me the same day they were scheduled to arrive to make sure I got them and everything was cool.

Yea but depending on what you want out of the car and how much fuel you need each person should decide accordingly. It seems like he wants the biggest injectors that doesnt require any modification at all. Dont wanna argue about it because I dont give a **** which size he picks since he just wanted to know experiences and I'm giving him mine and you're doing the same.

I see...I think I'm going to go with the 1000cc Precision ones since I don't have to dremel anything or do any modifying.
