injector question....pretty quick!

I ahave brown secondaries on my 87 TII parts car and red ones on my 88 does anyone think they are different?

Yep. Brown = low impedance TII. Red = low impedance NA.

Are the connectors rounded? Red rounded = high impedance TII.

No...NA injectors would make the car run lean, not rich. What is the part number on the unit?

12MPG city isn't too bad...

hmmm what about purple ones? my non-running 88 has the resistor pack, 87 block, and high imp injectors.


think thats why it doesnt start for more than .5 seconds? too bad my car is at the dealer and i cant try unplugging the pack

Purple are actually the early Zenki turbo 550's that are low impedence. These turn brown or tan due to discoloration of the plastic.

Running high impedence injectors with the resistor pack should still run.

well it did run.. for 800 miles.. then quit.

mine are purple and high imp.. does that make any sense? they were supposivly "new" injectors from the previous owner.
