there is a bit of a differnece, you mean the last model 2nd gen ifini in 91 or so.....
they had a slightly better turbo, and made 215 hp instead of 200, then all the sound deadening was removed and some other crap to make it weigh like 300lbs less than the normal 91 t2, i think it also had digital climate controls also...

It's just a sticker.
Try eBay.

Why are Infini threads always so full of misinformation? All this info has been posted a million times, as a search would've shown.

In 1991 with the end of RX-7 production came the Infini IV, a version of the RX-7 only destined for the Japan market. Again one was briefly brought over to the US where just a few journalists sampled its boosted Turbo power its improved lightweight and 25% stiffened cornering and its fantastic brake performance.
The lightweight version of the Zen religion had thrown out all the sound insulation fitted lighter seats and many components, no radio, lighter bigger exhaust and a lot of hard edged tweaking to the 13B Turbo's delivery and top power, (now 215 bhp) in a car dieted down to 2'700lb, some 287lb less than a stock US spec Turbo).
hey thats allmost 300 lbs!!
i think i got the better turbo crap confused with 3rd gens or somthing iono....
which one does have the climate control?? i cant even remember??isnt it one of hte ones that says savanna on the back??
The car looked a lot more shark like as it rode a full inch lower than standard on standard size wheels and special tyres, only being available in a dark green / black paint.

R&T listed the Infini curb weight as 2,770lb. IIRC the S5 TII weighed ~2970lb.
The GT-Limited has climate control. All Japanese FC's (except the Infini) had Savanna on the back, because that's the brand they were all sold under.

Man, I could get you cheap japanese cars all day long. It isn't hard to get them here AT ALL. You can even get them registered in WA state with very little trouble. Does that mean it's legal? No. Does that mean it can be seized by the government at any time? Yes. A couple friends of mine have Skylines, with WA plates and VINs on them, it's all semi-legal and grey area stuff.
Does it make it worth the hassle? No.

It comes down to this...if the car was available in the U.S., why would you bother to import one from outside of the U.S.?
It's mainly an emissions issue with the EPA. :P
So, since the FC turbo was already brought into the U.S., it's very hard to bring in a J-Spec FC turbo.
Same goes for a Zenki FD 1992 - 1995.
Now, a 1996+ FD might be consideration for importation - it's a gray area here.

I dont know about the conversion guys, but owning a RHD i think would be cool. Just to be different. And I thought the same thing about shifting with my left hand, but the adaptation is surprisingly fast and easy.
