I'm a loser. Where's the plug for oil pressure?

It's dark and I can't find the hook up for my oil pressure wire. I've been driving for a week now with my oil pressure reading 0, and I figured I'd fix it today. Well I found a wire not hooked up (yellow with red stripe) with a white connector on it. It looks like it could go right around below my oil filter, but I don't see a hook up for it. Am I even in the right area? I looked in the Haynes manual, but I can't find it. Thanks for the help.

its under the oil filter neck. theres this black thing that looks like a door **** with a round contact sticking out of it. the wire slips over the contact.

good luck
