idle is finally fixed..750rpms here i come
well i have finally fixed my my idle
specs; gxl with a jpec turbo swap
t2 rear
t2 tranny
t2 maf
t2 jdm uim ,with no idle stop screw
t2 aspec bac with screw
so i was trying to figure out to get my idle to 750rpm
i did so many searches
well i went outside one more time and cheched everthing
i was puzzled no go
so i went back under and looked were i t,ed my boost gauge hose to the pressure sensor to the nipple under the bac
voila..the pressure sensor hose was brittle and had a crack in
so i had a vacuum leak, but also i would start the car cold and it would die
so i went counterclocwise on the thermowax
and now my idle is a solid 750
..no more dying at a light
..no more high idle

were i went wrong was using silicon hoses they slip of easily i got all knew stock hoses...you must remember there 20 somthing years old, i got that advice when i was at atco raceway ..from some rotary gurus
You had the wrong size silicone hose. It should be 3.5mm for most of the nipples. The nearest equivalent size in SAE is 5/32"
i had the right size ...they just collapes under pressure..ill post pics of there destruction ..im not saying not to use them, in my case stock works just fine and when going to the track they cant be trusted
