ID this wire.

ok there is a wire coming off of the main body electrical harness that goes up to the main fuse panel under the hood. this wire is on there but i dont see an ending. and there was another wire that was cut also (i dont want to assume since it looks like it carries current) that was wired into one side of the 80amp fuse box. its copper and black (picture is below) somewhat heavy but not as heavy as the battery cable wires, id say 1/3 to 1/4th the size.

my car have one black wire like you said, but had a female connector end on it.
i think it's extra bat/12+v souce for testing tool or some like that.(look like your end was cut off)

i thought it plugged into the fuse block but i see nowhere for it to. and i have an extra part of a harness and found this on it, only thing that i think it would come off of. ill have to check my s5 t2 wiring harness to see what if i can use it to figure it out.

yes that's the one.
on my car it doesn't lead to nowhere, that's why i think it's for testing tool.

hmm. then where/why was that one on my main 80a breaker? this wiring diagram is a pain in my ***. and thanks for the help.

ok i traced that back to the defog on the s5t2 wiring harness i had. (mine is a s4t2) so are they the same thing on all fcs?

that cut wire is just soild black? any color strip on it?it's the same size wire as the i was mentioned?

solid black, no markings that i saw, but i plan on going back out and looking at it in a few mines to make sure im not missing anything.

waht happen when you turn on the ignition?
there should be two ring end wire hook up the 80a fuse one side each
maybe you missing one of that?

i have no battery hooked up so nothing. and as far as i know my car has had it cut like that since ive had it. i just need to figure out what the similiar black wire coming off of the fuse block was for.
