Toe eliminators will help stiff things up for use in drift, but they do not eliminate the rear steering knuckles.

Why don't you try drifting with the car as it is now, and see how you do?

I just replaced mine and I found the car has significantly less understeer. As the bushings get older, they get softer and more compliant. Since the system depends on bushing compliance to create toe-in (and thus understeer), worn out bushings tend to engage too early causing understeer.

Care to elaborate? I just finished a complete suspension overhaul for my car and the DTSS eliminators I got look like they'll remove all rear steer. The Re Amemiya style bushes are quite different to the Racing Beat ones, they are made from solid billet aluminium, and have no give whatsoever.

Edit: I used to experience snap oversteer with DTSS. Ever since I installed the eliminators the rear end has become much more predictable. They are a must for drifting, otherwise the rear end will always seem to be "floating".
