hey i need help i was wondrering what every one thoght sbout this car? its a 1987 turbo!
1987 MAZDA RX 7 TURBO 2( FACTORY TURBO/INTERCOOLER)BOLT ON UPGRADES INCLUDE FULL RACING BEAT EXHAUST SYSTEM, K&N FILTER CHARGER INTAKE, GREDDY INJECTORS,3RD GEN HI VOLUME FUEL PUMP CONVERSION, CENTER FORCE STAGE 3 CLUTCH AND PRESSURE PLATE. FRESH 8 COAT WET SANDED AND POLISHED PAINT JOB. INTERIOR HAS NO RIPS OR TEARS IN THE SEATS, DOOR PANLES OR HEAD LINER. 77K MILES, LOOKS, RUNS, DRIVES, HANDLES GREAT. Be *very* careful buying any modded car. It's a double edged sword. First of all, any car that's been modified har probably been driven hard, that is, worn out. Second, any engine that's been upgraded is unlikely to be as reliable as a stock car. Third, the upgrades may not have been done correctly. There's all too few competent rotary mechanics.....

That said, buying a car that's already built will save you significant amounts of money and time. If you were planning to modify the car yourself, it might be for you.

I've owned two cars that were modified by previous owners: my current '89 T2 and '88 Mazda 323GTX. Fortunately both turned out to be great. I've also known people who bought modified car only to have them blow up shortly after...

also i have a 87 n/a, if the engine in the 87 turbo dies how hard would it be to swap them out?????
