I Know...

I know that this question has been asked hundreds of times but humor me please.
Ok so this happened yesterday. I was driving home just giving my car a good run because I had not driven her for a while. So I'm in fourth at about 5k going on 6k I hit 6 and then the car starts bucking as if it popped out of gearso I start slowing down and take it easy on her until I got home. I had to go back out later on in the day, and everything seems fine when I start it, it held idle at a steady 800. So I take off 1st is fine, in 2nd I could not go over 3k in boost or it wold buck, 3rd was the same. The car would not go over 3k in boost. but out of boost it will go fine all the way up to 4k in third without the turbo spooling up. near the end and close to my house no matter what I did it would buck and then stall. So I finnaly get it home and go to back it in too my garge. So I turn around to manouevre my ther car so I can back her in. right then she stalls with me blocking both lanes of trafic. now my drive way is on an angle so pushing it in would not work. So I had to manouever it so it was not blocking trafic and then try to see if I could figure out what was wrong. I just tried starting it and it would start and rev up to 3k then start comming down until nothing and stall it did this the next couple times I tried it then I tried to see if I could hold the rpm up there, but every time I stepped on the gas, nothing. It would not even jump a bit, It would actually die faster.

What do you guys think it could be or if you could point me to some old post with the same problem.

sounds like a very big vac leak..but it could also be other things...

I haven't done anything to the car in the way of mods, all I have done is fixed up the brake problem I had.
How do I check for a vac leak?

it will take too long to explain...so try doing a search for "vac leak"...but before you do, check your intake pipings

Probably an intake hose popped off. Specifically look at the turbo inlet duct and intercooler piping...

Might also be a clogged fuel filter.

Ok Here is an update.
I just finished trying to find out why my car would not start, and after checking all intake piping, and vac lines I could still not figure it out. But I do have some more info. There is a big rich gas smell in the engine bay after trying to start. Also now instead of starting, runnig for 5 seconds, and then stalling. It will not start at all, it just keeps turning over and not starting.

What could it be now?

Check your sparkplugs and wiring to them, maybe while you were fixing the brakes you unplugged the wires and then did not plugged them in correctly. I had similar problem the only thing it took two weeks to get to condition you are in, and it was because the sparkplugs got lots of carbon deposits on them and would not ignite. In you case it is most likely not carbon deposits but I think it is related to your ignition system.

Does the EGI Fuse Trick work on TIIs? I flooded my N/A before and had to pull the Fuse so no gas got into the engine. Cranked it a couple times... it worked. If you didn't know, Series 4, at least, when they flood, the gas stays in the engine and doesn't just dissapate after time. I suppose he could try it unless a TII guy wants to stop him.
