Tell them you had ypur cam removed for the next two weeks while you get it reground, but you think it runs a lot better without a cam so you're gonna keep it that way. That, or tell them you installed a cam from the new electric motors.

OT: I once had an emissions tester tell me he though I had some "valve noise." I told him to keep his damned hands off my car! I made sure I was standing right there when the morons did the test... I had to show them the spark plug wires, then they hooked it up wrong and had their guage showing me idling at 10,000 rpm!

Emissions people cannot be trusted.

I had another one tell me that my "ignition was advanced 60 degrees at idle and he couldn't pass me."

Think about that for a second.

trying to explain the rotary to dumb people got old, I made it easier by getting the little keychain model of a rotary engine with a spinnable rotor in the housing, its helps them understand, I think..........

 

where can i find one of those keychains??
