Question I checked my compression today...

110 PSI front rotor
109 PSI rear rotor

Are these numbers OK for a s5 turbo block?
What's spec? I have NO idea.

Also, the person on the inside of the car forgot to hold the throttle at WOT, would that throw things off?

120 is new from stock. Make sure the engine was warmed up properly before hand. and the throttle has to be at WOT.

The test will only be totally accurate if perofrmed on a warmed up engine, and with the throttle at WOT.

New spec is about 120-125.
VGC is 110-120
Good is 100-110
Getting weak is 90-100
Poor condition is under 90.

at 1 mile high subtract about 20 psi from all of those numbers.
Damn, I wish I lived at sea level

so my engine is fine then? Good.

What's up with the dubs on the pickup? Please tell me you didn't spend money on those.

Don't forget that the compression difference between the two rotors (and also between faces??) has a spec.
Cold medicine has me all messed up and I can't rmember what the allowable difference is...

I wondered too. I mean, I could see if it was lowered, and 2WD, but with the 4WD off-road package?
