How To Remove S5 MOP Without Throwing Codes? Device To Emulate It?
OK, I've heard that it is not possible to remove the OMP from my 89 TII since it's electric and the ECU has to see it there. I've read the archives, and it is mentioned; but I want to see if anyone has had ANY success at tricking the ECU with some resistors in circuit? My OMP is out, and I have it mostly removed; but the damn CEL keeps throwing every 11 minutes and limping the girl out.... Is there any solution to this?

Its a fairly complicated feedback control loop. I've solved it for S5 NA, S5 TII is in the works. This involves chipping the ECU to remove the code related to OMP operation. Visit www.pocketlogger.com for details

Damn you've come quite a ways since I last heard. I owned the rtek 1.7 and loved it. but back then you only had it for the s4tII, glad to see your going to be selling to everyone now! Congrats on the great "creative engineering"

No one has bothered though since used parts are available as a cheap replacement.

But wait a second.... I'm not an electrical engineer.... Guess I've just got to wiat for Henrik, or get a new OMP. Anyone have one for a s5 TII sittin around for sale?
Henrik collaborates with PocketLogger at : http://pocketlogger.com/?pid=rtek7&t...age=1&ecu=S5NA
