Sure you can. Mods mean car value does DOWN. Us being 7 enthusiests we tend to pay a few extra $ for a moded car. But as far as value goes www.kbb.com and take some value away from the book price because it is moded.

7 enthusiasts? tend to pay more????

from ferrari to honda, if the car has aftermarket mods the price will be higher than it would be without the mods(people pay it)? i should be asking less than someone with a bone stock 87 Tii? im hoping u fell off that dirt bike of yours.

yes, people who do not know what a "mod" is will pay less for it since it, most of the time, lowers the reliability of the car.

an enthusaist tends to do the work on the car themself and know what "mods" are and how much they would have to pay to have the mod done and whether it is worth it to them.

obviously some shmoe who knows nothing about a rex won't pay as much as someone who knows what they are looking at and how much it cost to build.

I would say its lower than what KBB says it is. Mods decrease the value of the vehicle, not increase it.

Sounds about right to me. However, your extra uninstalled parts would add to that. Well, the transmission and brakes, anyway.

The high mileage on the body is going to make people think twice, because of that I'd say you won't see anymore than $3k

It never hurts to ask more. At the worst someone will through you a low figure, at best you get what you asked. Just don't be all hatting if you have a hard time getting more then 3k

actually, when it comes to rx-7's i think enthusiasts pay wayyyy less. ive seen high school kids my age spend 2000-2500 on bone stock n/a's in average condition, while any enthusiast would pay MAYBE 1000-1300. but, the mad tyte drift hype raises the value with certain groups of kids.

The car seems to be broken. Six psi and a three inch pipe and fcd says so. It's worth about $1150...maybe, depending.
