Question How much is it worth?

Im looking at buying a 1986 GXL and the interior is perfect. Its a 5sp thats been sitting for about 2 years now and there's only one spot you can tell signs of rust. It has a sport suspension package, and the tires only have 100 miles on them.
Heres the problem, the engine blew an apex seal and needs a rebuild. The guy is going to sell me the car with a custom strait pipe exhaust for $350 should i do it?

I might pay $350 for it. I don't like buying S4's unless they are turbos. I've got a couple motors I'll let you buy for really cheap. That is if you either want to pick it up or pay for shipping.

I was talking to the guy from banzai racing and he said he could do a full aftermarket rebuild for $1300. that encludes teflon parts so i will probibally just let him rebuild the engine.

Why would you want to get rid of the car after you rebuild it? Keep it and have fun man! And yes, I would get it.

Why does it have to stay at your parents house if you go to college? I know plenty of people that live on campus and own cars..
