how much is this worth????
Ok im looking for a estimated price on a 91TII Its black with black leather, power windows, and power door locks 103k miles on the body. Motor is questionable, i.e. does not run, but dont know why, and the hood is bent, but i have a tII hood, so thats not a problem. What do you think? Oh and it could poss use a new paint job, Just looks to be the origional black.
Thanks Guys,
-Chris

Well you figure $1000 for a S4 with blown engine (and start subtracting for any body work or mods) and $1500 for a S5 w/blown engine (and again start subtracting for body work needed or mods done).
You said it needed a hood, and paint- T2 hood is $200 and paint is a min of $500.
And if the paint is bad, you know the interior needs work. That if he didn't keep the paint up, what are the odds he kept the leather oiled and nice and not cracking, or even cleaned/vacummed the carpet, or vinyl protected the dash and plastic???

I'd probably pay a few grand LOL...
I look it the other way around... take the price of a running one. and subtrack an engine and work... running ones here are like 10-12k cnd (8k usd)

I would say it is worth around $1000. I am not saying that you should pay that for it. I am merely stating that if you were to put the car on ebay (as is) it will fetch around $1000. Now, that being said, for you to fix it, it might only cost $1000+. Do you want to paint it or are you ok with the faded paint? Do you want to modify it? At the least you will need new brake pads, fluids, maybe clutch, ect.. So factor that into your purchase. Your best bet is to just get the car running and hold off on any mods or crazy paint jobs. That is where you will start to spend $$

hahaha i know all about that, I actually have an 87TII that i am gonna take the hood from. And i have paint that i can paint the car with, ALso. It will be modified, haha Read the sig, but im thinking about just puting a stock motor back in because i wanna build up an re to put in there but in order to get this car i was gonna swap my blazer for it. Im just trying to justify this trade.
