By running really really rich? Could that be a serious problem. I go through gas like crazy and my car doesn't seem to be running close to as fast as it should. By the way this is on my 87 TII. Could a bad fuel filter be to blame for either or both of these problems? Thanks.

 

Is the car stock? Have you done any mods?

 

Just an intake, thats all.

 

I would imagine that a cloged filter will make u run lean. But i dont know. Sounds like somethings out of adjustment..Pressure sensor TPS maf mabey..Take it to a shop.

 

How does the exhaust smell? Do you get any black smoke? How are your plugs? And like von said, check the TPS.
