Oh the horror...

yup, today i went to the track for the very first time

well it was hella fun, but bad at the same time for it being my first time i had some pretty nice R/T's
a .571, a .540, and a .523, i also had a 1.055 which was terrible because i went to launch and i was in 3rd gear, DOH had to put it in first and go again lol.

now the terrible part

this was my best run:

.523 R/T
2.543 60FT
16.916 ET
78.51 MPH

weird thing, the other run was

.540 R/T
2.6 60FT
17.2 ET
82 MPH

whats up with that higher trap speed?? lol oh well it sucked, but i guess with 180k miles on the engine i cant complain, was in the 86 SE

Gotta work on the launch, 2.5 and 2.6 60's are killing you.

Have fun!

ReZ this car has 180,000 miles what can we expect out of 180k miles on it lol

the 14.4 in the other car was at a track, but not a track with a Chritmas Tree, it was just a legal street drag, and i kinda dont consider that a "real track" there was a guy at the start that flagged the start and a guy at the end with a stop watch

Man, last year we had about 4 NA FCs doing 14's in the dragstrip, time goes by and now we don't have any FC in the 14 sec zone. People PLEASE stop misleading everybody else..................................PLEASE!!!!!! !!!!!!
