I believe they are the boost control and pre spool solenoids and yess u can remove them if you have a boost controller. if not then u can get a perrin boost controller and use it as plug and play with the 1 boost control solenoid..
also what do you mean by a map preloaded? stock map? if your power FC has a stock map or even a moded map you shoudl still have a knoledgeble FD guy look at the map before boosting. just because 1 map works for 1 guy with the same setup does not mean it will work well for your car..

Wastegate and precontrol solenoids. Don't cut the harness, that is a good way to create a short etc.

AWS = Automated Warm Up System. This is what causes your engine to fire up at 3k the moment you start it. Conventional wisdom = this is bad = get rid of it.

The other two off the top of my head I forget...Purge Control I know what it goes to and what it does but not sure how to explain it. Search Purge Control removal in the 3rd Gen and Single Turbo section and you will get a ton of info.

It should be "ACV" - air control valve.

Do you have the Factory Service Manual (FSM)? All of your questions you are asking are answered in there:

the air control valve directs the air from the smog pump to the exhaust port or to the cat according to the driving condition.
