just get it dyno'd if you want to know what it's pushing... and you wouldn't even have to wear your flame suit . plus you can decide where you need to go next with it.

besides, the way i see it, HP is really subjective to the quality of the set up and tuning regardless of what components.

standalones... FMIC's... sometimes i'm glad i have a N/A.

sounds like a bunch of noobs having a pissing contest, with 230whp your pissing on your shoes. If you want to run with the fast people, expect to pay and expect to ditch the stock ems, top mount inter heater, and turbo.

ReTed knows his ****. Your 240 dyno ( post the sheet) is on a s5 block, the poster of this thread has a s4.

I read of a s4 88 10ae making 247 at 10psi.... stock turbo.... and i STILL dont believe a word of it.

Im sorry you just cant gain 100hp or more over stock with exhaust and 10psi.

If you're refering to me click the link, and yes I'm a newb, but i've been here 2 years longer then you, yes Ted knows his ****, but he shouldn't throw the search response out so easily.

I also said that I have a S5 block, and said his should be lower, maybe you should read a little more? I know my motor is basically maxed out right now, it's getting kind of lean so I need more fuel, when I do that, I will lose power so I need to increase boost to compensate for that, or get a fuel controller, or both.

On a turbo exhaust and intakes open lots up, the stock TID is possibly the worst design ever. Get over you're self and get off Ted.

well my setup is using an S5 turbo, everything else was S4. Im pretty sure the previous owner didnt lie about dyno'ing 250hp at the wheels, it can do low 13's in the 1/4th

I don't have much to say about this other than a) congrats on bnr getting thier website up thats awesome! and b) go to the dyno yourself and see what you get. there are about 789818739823089 theads on this and they are all the same just a big guessing game with a bunch of people saying what they make on thier but dyno's. Like someone else said if you want to talk about making power get a fmic, standalone, upgrade your turbo and fuel system, port your engine, and spend a booty load of money and then and only then will it be fast lol. Good luck though bud rx7's in any FI form is fun

i been around a long time, this is not my first screen name.

I read your post i replyed. Stop getting all emotional. Dont take things so personal, no one attacked you.

i stick by my fuggin post... no tii will gain 100hp over stock with exhaust and 10psi on the stock setup.

How about you get off of me now?

Where did I take it personally? Ted just jumps to way too many conclusions, and says search, maybe sometimes he should take his own advice? And YOU had asked me to post the graph so I told you to click the link. Plain and simple. Even a movie, just incase you might not beable to read a dyno chart like the big boys.

NO car will gain 100hp over stock, by replacing the intake and exhaust, thats just insane. And if your nuts are that big, you might want to get them checked out, might have cancer. Which would be kind of cool. Good luck with your cancer treatment.

so if you agree that no s4 tii will make 250whp with exhaust and 10psi on the otherwise stock setup.... why are you talking?

Why ever make the rude post about me?

Just like to start **** maybe?

I simply stated it is VERY possible it could with a little more money, I NEVER SAID IN ONE of my posts a S4 could, I said that i had these mods on my S5, so you could get similar results. Then Ted says : "NO RX7 WILL MAKE 250WHP ON A STOCK TURBO, ECU, OR IC". I Guess I proved him wrong no.

If you know so much, show me someone that did do 230 at the wheels with the stock ECU and stock IC?

If you can't furnish proof, I think you should STFU.

I just love it when idiots tell you you're wrong and can't prove it.
Don't you feel stupid?

Ah, nevermind...missed this link.
If the wide-band AFR readings are correct, I guess you subscribe to the ideology "lean is mean".
Good luck with your motor.

Who feels stupid? And yes lean is mean, I put 22k miles on that motor last summer, daily drove it, only put gas, premix, and lots of 20-50. Who know how many miles it had put on it in Japan. Actually I had to replace the clutch the stock one was junk other then that the car has cost me nothing.

Can you show me where exactly I said that?

Did you actually break 250?
Your link doesn't show a dyno sheet breaking 250, or did I miss something?

Oh, BTW, what dyno and shop location did you pull that 240 out of your ***?
Ambient temps during dyno session?

weight reduction

hmm well, if I can get like 220 to the wheel with my setup, I could afford to lose some weight on this car. I can remove all of my a/c stuff, it doesnt work anyways.. My powersteering can be removed. I can remove the backseat which I never use, the tow hooks, hell Ill even go as far as removing the bumper covers and taking the bumpers out. Of course, i will put the bumper covers off. I could take the insulation from the underside of the carpet so I just have carpet. These cars weigh like 2800 lbs, about 100 heavier than the 3rd gen. If I can match the 3rd gens power at its wheels(about 220) and lighten my car up a bit more than the 3rd gen... Then yes I should be as fast maybe quicker than a 3rd gen? Is 220 at my wheels with my current setup possible?

rtek 1.7 550/720cc injectors
walboro pump
stage 3 clutch
full 3 inch turbo back single exhaust
3 inch TID 45 degree bend at turbo and then straight to a cone filter.

I tested at Splitfire tuning Brampton, the ambient temps were 93* I had to take apic of my sheet becaue my scanner crapped out. It's at my other house right now, so i'll make sure to get you that . Are you on crack? If I add 2 more psi, I'm amost possitive I can break 250hp, you even said 240hp wasn't attainable. I still proved you wrong.

Here's a link to the day that we dyno'd our cars it was actually a rather LARGE RX7 meet, I'll get you the link for that too.
Date : JUN 12 2005

MAX TEMP : 29.6 °C
MIN TEMP : 23.5 °C
MEAN TEMP : 26.6 °C
PRECIP ACCUMULATION : Trace
