How much hp on my S4 TII???

I have a 1987 tII im building... I want to be as fast or a little faster than a stock third gen. The stock third gens have about 220 at the wheels and 255 at the crank.

here are my mods

Rtek 1.7 with 550/720cc injectors all new.
Walboro 255 fuel pump, rewired.
Full turbo back 3 inch exhaust, to a y pipe and out to two hi flow mufflers
Straight 3inch custom Tubo inlet duct.
No power steering or air conditioning.
Removed smog pump emissions junk.
Greddy type rs blow off valve
Stage 3 6 puck clutch

How much at the wheels do you think I should see?

He says he's running the Rtek 1.7. The chip is from pocketlogger and its meant to run with 720's.

reguardless if he had the rtek or not he could simply use a FCD and be just fine pushing 12psi.

I would add a FMIC just my opinion and yea your prolly 250 to 270 at crank.

Just to stir it up, stock third gens don't have 220 rwhp, more like 180.

If you've got good compression and are maxing out the stock turbo you're probably hovering around 220whp or so.

yea

I totally though it was BS too, I know it has more like 220 at the wheels...
So, with these mods do you think I can accomplish this or maybe a little bit better? I really want 250 at my wheels... I know it can be done with this setup.. just need to know how. 12 lbs of boost? Like I said, I have the full 3 inch exhaust with the fancy tid I made, and plenty of fuel to back up the boost

you need to look into a bigger turbo, a hybrid will work, and a FMIC.

I have almost the exact same setup (with SAFC II and ACT flywheel, clutch instead), and the previous owner said it dynoed 250 at the wheels. My SAFC is just set for adding more fuel for safety, so its taking away power, if anything. I think he was running 12 psi

well

well all you are saying anywhere from 185 to 220.. thats not ****.. wtf youre telling me with a aftermarket tid and full exhaust, having the ecu chipped with a bigger pump and injectors to match it this car wont do much better than stock?

I thought the only problem with the stock mount IC was that if you sit for a while it heat soaks... meaning once you get going again it will drop back down to normal temperature, which of course is not good for something like say autocrossing.

If this is all I can do, I am just wasting my money. I have had it with this stupid car and it chewing up my money... what the hell else can I do... I know these stock turbos can get about 250 to my wheels.. ive seen it done ive seen it on here, just dont know how to get it. Will a intercooler mounted away from the engine really give me that much horsepower? Or will it just prevent the heatsoak, which is horsepower, but I dont expect anything astronomically high from it.
I must say, if this is all true I am disappointed.

boost it to 12 psi and get an safc to control the fuel for fine tuning and you will see 220 wheels this is almost a positive there have been multiple people on here to get upwards of 240 or so with that setup... It can be done

1) I don't see any mention of a fuel controller.
I think the Walbro is going to make the engine run stinkin' rich; running rich kills power.
Get something that can tweak your fuel injectors, and it'll easily break 220.

2) To break 230...240hp, you need either a turbo uprade, a good FMIC, or get rid of the stock ECU and go stand-alone EMS.
I've *NEVER* seen a stock ECU, stock turbo FC makes over 230 at the wheels.
If you got ***** to push the turbo over 15psi, it might make over 230, but I question the reliability of the turbo after that.

3) Drop the attitude. I almost never wanted to reply again cause of your poor attitude. If you want answers, try and be a little more humble and drop the vulgarities; you're not impressing us with your foul mouth.

You also might want to do a search.

keep in mind also that you are talking about available hp not total. by lightening everything up you allow the engine to rev faster. you may want to think about doing the TB mod from FC3Spro.com . IMO it's not about raw numbers, it's more usability of the power already generated from the engine. I'm a road race guy, I love corners not stait lining.

Hybrid turbos can be found at www.bnrturbos.com. Brian is a good guy and knows his stuff. You don't have a whole lot more to go to meat your goal.

Well with your S4, you will maka little less maybe 230 at the wheels is attainable, but i wouldn't settle for less then 210.
