It's 77 pounds, which going to be extremely difficult for you to lower with your arms due to the lack of leverage you will have when lying under the car.

Um, how are you going to get it out from under your car if you don't have a jack?

LOL, what I mean is that I don't think that there is enough room to pull it out from under your car. You will need to jack up the car to do that.

Geez, don't you have a jack in your car along with the spare tire?

Can we take pics as you do this?

I wish I could watch. You might want to have a cell phone handy to call 911 while you lay there with a crushed chest after those 77 lbs falls on top of you.

I got a different question.. How do you plan to get the car in the air to get the transmission out without a jack?

Do you have jack stands? Those might be a tad important too.

At the risk of sounding like DAD, you're in over your head. Get a friend who knows cars to help you.

Well I dont remember saying I didnt have jack stands. I have two. I will lift the front up high. I have a hydro jack but dont have the Tranz converter for it and not going to buy one because Im spending to much as it is. Once the car is up and the tranz is down I can work on the tranz from underneath the car right? I mean I dont have to pull it completly out. As long as its sitting thier under the car I think I can work on it. Im pretty short but can bench 200lbs I dont think I should call 911 for 77 lbs. LOL. If it was high 90s or more than I think that would be different.

Phew.. Ok, you don't need the converter piece, just a good hydraulic jack is fine. It'd be easier with the trans jack piece, but you're ok.

You gotta pull it all the way out (onto the floor).. You don't have to move it beyond the floor, no. But the trans has to be totally disconnected and separated from the engine to swap the clutch disk. Don't forget to disconnect the slave cylinder and ground wire.
