N/A Turbo

To all you guys doing this modification check this out... I heard my car go a lean today (Since I am familiar with the noise I let go of the gas inmediately), I was lucky not have broken an apex seal.
After installing a new MSD fuel pump my problem got solved. So I advice you guys to install a hi-performance fuel pump just to be safe... Remember it's not the pressure only that counts It's the gallons that are most important.
Not worth having a pump that has lots of pressure if it has no good gallons per hour numbers... If you go lean you will hear the engine making a horrible roar, plus you will feel the loss of power. If you do hear this roaring awful noise at high rpms let go of the gas inmediately. How do you know if it is too late? You car will not idle well, it will be hard to hot start, and it will sound completely diffrent.

so running lean (pre-detonating) sounds almost like a very deep sounding rush of air? once or twice when i first started my engine i think i herd it (before i changed my o2 sensor). Just want to know what it sounds like.. I am slowly gathering parts for my turbo upgrade. I also need to know what fuel controller I can get that will sence boost.. I dont want to change my cpu (I dont have such a nice job ) Someone once said a apex afc can with 2 map sensors
factory n/a map -> factory cpu
piggyback T2 map -> afc
Never herd if it will work though..
