1/8mile drags last night. Times.

I didnt race but thier was this all motor running 8.5. I saw three civic si making 10.4 all day. One made 9.9 that was modded. I have seen stock 2nd gens run 10.2. Lots of eclipses all of wich were slow in the 10s. A yellow GST with bodykit and pst pst sounds runing consistent 10s. Weeeeeek. Some integras running mid to high 9s and a couple fast crx and hatches running low to high 9s. Mustang cobra ran 9.9 and lots of others that were pretty slow. A couple in the eights. A 300z turbo runing low 9s.

A few old muscle cars. Comaro and corvete or chevele running 6.9-low low 7s. They took the show. Man imports are slow...except that old rx-1 all motor blowing flames. That was sweet...

The only cars that broke down and or blew thier tranz was the hondus. Someone told me that thier one of the best engines. Not for forced induction like I said obviously history repeats its self for this happens at every event. All well. I think twice about the rice cars (not rx-7s) and give total respect for the old muscle. Damn thier sweet , fast , and reliable.

Hope this helps anyone whos interested in time figures for any future reference. I have posted these before and will continue to do so every couple weeks.

I went and a gutted turbo Civic ran an 8.9 on slicks, after being pushed into the burnout box. Dudes were all cheering, then got mad after I laughed. They thought an 8.9 was the ****. Its like a 13.4-13.5.... Yay, my car can do that ful interior on street tires

I did it with street tires and only going 1-2. held 7,000 rpms for the last 45 yds or so. I was trying to stay above 9.0 since that was my break out. Maybe i shifted too quickly?
