Well after some very hardcore grandma driving.....shifting at 2500 or so and keeping the revs low. Braking in nuetral I got about 25-26mpg city and freeway driving combined. Which isn't too bad, but I wasn't pushin the petal to the medal that's for sure.

The question is not relevant, a rotary powered vehicle is not an economy vehicle. If you want fuel economy, may I recommend 4 pistons?

Bullshit. It's not an economy vehicle, but if someone is consistently getting 10mpg doing city/highway driving, either they need a foot lightening, or something's wrong.

Also, a large part of the lack of fuel economy is related to the relatively primative ECU, and the fact that keeping the catalytic converters intact in their solid form prevents running optimal fuel economy tune. Talk to the guys with standalones pushing 30mpg, and ask what kind of exhaust temperatures they cruise at.

first you take the broom handle off the broom and then take the cat by the scruff of the neck and place it in the middle of the gas filler neck and start ramming the cat into the tank....
