You positive you want to open this can of worms? Some here will debate that an E-Fan is NOT an improvement. I would suggest you search and learn, and make your own decision.

Sum up= Pros: Install is easy, slight HP gain, clears up space under the hood, provides better cooling while car is sitting.

Cons: Money could be used on much more needed things, in some situations the fan can put a huge strain on the electrical system, overall it does not cool as well as the stock clutch fan.

Horsepower gains are negligable.

only cost me about 70 bucks start to finish to install my fan. got a fan off a fiero and got a fan controller form summit(i think). at least it makes the engine bay look better.

agreed, negligable gains in hp

Its a line from Godfather - something like: "no matter hard I try, they keep sucking me back in."

Every time I see e-fans, I sit back and watch. By the way I agree with you 100% small gain!

i tried twin 10" efans on my FC, i only wanted them to open up the engine bay, and give myself room to mount the radiator back a little to run FMIC piping through the gap created, but they were terrible. they couldn't keep temps down at all! back to the clutch fan and shroud, and consistent 84degree water temps.

i think a single 16" fan would be OK, as long as ducting is in place for it, and it is shrouded (if possible).

Installing was easy, I zip-tied them to the radiator basically. nice and flush. run through the microtech auxiliary output.

my 2cents.

I used the Fiero fan, total cost for the swap less than $50, which is a lot cheaper than a replacement fan clutch.
The improvement in underhood room made it worthwhile for me.
Defintely a big help in summer traffic (Las Vegas)
J-RAT speaks the truth about minimal HP gains.
I think the people that attach fans directly to the radiator core are causing future radiator failure.
The fan(s) should be rigidly attached to the radiator frame or to brackets.
