how hard is it to change the rear diff bushing??

hey guys im here at a friends place who has acces to a lift and a set of tools i bought the bushing from mazdatrix the one that is 20% stronger than the stock one was wondering how hard is it to change???

are you being serious drop the whole subframe??? i heard that you can get your hands in there if you take the right wheel off i think and loosen up the bolts that hold the subframe am i correct???? let me know

Well,

Everytime I have done that damn diff mount, its been a struggle. The ONE time I decide to just lower the subframe, it was like the easiest thing ever.

But if you want to do it without removing the subframe, just lower the front two "ears" that extend towards the front of the car.

True story:

When I first got into rotaries, I was in the middle of a diff mount change. Coming from classic cars, I never had any experience with subframes, so I jacked the car and put the stands under the rear shock mounts. Once that subframe came loose.. WHOO BOY! What fuN! Car made about a one foot jump FORWARD. What an idiot...

well i tried and didnt really work to well because dam i took off the 2 bolts and the rear subframe barely budged any ideas???

J-rat already told you. Take the whole subframe down and it will make the whole job that much easier.
