it's an Aeromtive pump(1000a). flows more per hour than a smaller pump. some of us with a lot of hp need these to keep our cars from running lean. usually cost around 350$. UNDERSTOOD?

First of all we can judge some 'mechanic' anyway we feel the need to judge someone, one of the pirks of using a public forum.

From what you've said, ie, he was 'bitching' and stuff about not being able to get his car performing aswell as he thought it should and that this definiency was caused by the haltech system.

That sir, is crap, as RETed said it's obviously a tunning deficieny on his part not the system itself.

You could get high HP many different ways, thats not what we're concerned about here, you could get just as high HP with mechanical injection or a carb. There are however reasons these forms of injection are not in mass produced cars anymore, and havn't been for some time. Namely fuel efficiency and broad torque spread.

Back on the ORIGINAL TOPIC:

is a kit to convert from AFM to MAF. I have not checked to see if this is 100% compatible, but it shouldn't be hard to find out.
